On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 28th International Congress of Administrative Sciences, it is my great privilege to welcome you all to Indonesia. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to IIAS & IASIA for their great faith in Indonesia to host the activities of such a splendid event as the "28th International Congress of Administrative Sciences on 12-17 July 2010 Bali, Indonesia". As a growing centre for business and tourism in South East Asia, Indonesia offers the delegates and visitors a unique blend of tradition and modern life. I truly believe that the sincere hospitality of the people will outweigh the relatively warm weather of July.

The Congress will primarily address contemporary issues of public administration under two major themes of PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION FACING NEW DYNAMICS: Constraints, Innovation and Sustainability (IIAS), and PUBLIC SECTOR STRATEGIES FOR OVERCOMING GROWING GLOBAL INEQUALITY (IASIA).
